Overview
The Christian Prayer Center was started as a service by Pastor John Carlson and his team of faithful volunteers.
Carlson, a fourth generation father of the church, has seen the great power of prayer for his entire life and wanted to make a way to bring Christians together to add strength to their prayers.
By creating the Christian Prayer Center, Christians can now come together to read other people's requests for prayer and join them when they feel it is appropriate. It is our goal to help people have their prayers heard.
Funding
We are a 100% member supported community. We rely on the love and generosity of our members for our survival.
If enough people come together in donation, we hope to be able to provide this service well into the future. God Bless!
Location
Our volunteers are located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America. We ask that all loving souls around the world join us in prayer.
With the generous donations of our members, it is our hope to grow to help the lives of thousands around the world.
Submitting Prayer Requests
Anyone can submit a prayer request. To submit a prayer request, click on the link to the left titled "Submit Prayer Request".
Fellow Christians will be able to read your request, pray for you, comment, and send their best wishes.
Reading Prayer Requests
Anyone can read other's prayers. This activity is highly encouraged so that those in need of prayer can receive His gifts.
To read a prayer request, click on the link to the left titled "Read Prayer Requests".
After reading a person's prayer request, you are presented with three options:
If you feel strongly about a prayer request, we ask that you take a moment and pray for this person. Indicate this by pressing "I Pray for Thee" to let our fellow member know that they have been joined in prayer.
If you sympathize with a person's request, but would rather not pray, send this person your best wishes by pressing "Go in Peace".
If you feel that a person's prayer request is inappropriate for prayer, please indicate this by pressing "Not Worthy".
How to Pray
Prayer can be expressed in many forms. It can be spoken aloud, but it doesn't need to be as long as you focus your mind and your heart. When praying on another member's request, we ask that you take a moment to visualize in your mind those who are in need and ask God for help.
Reviewing Your Requests
To review a prayer request that you have submitted and read comments others have left for you, click on "Review Your Requests". You can view who has prayed for you, update your prayer request, and respond to comments.
