Faith Prayer Requests for June 2009

DAUGHTER IN JAIL
My daughter was arrested in November 2008 for burglary. She has never been arrested before or has any kind of criminal background. She got mixed up with the wrong crowd and started doing drugs. She was a good daughter once upon a time. She will appear before the judge again on 6/8/09 for continuance. She is incarcerated in a dirty jail cell in Chicago.

Please pray for her court appearance n 6/8/09 that the judge will give her probation. I need her home, because I just suffered a mild stroke from all the stress. Please pray for this mother who had to see her daughter being led away in handcuffs and tears in her eyes. Pray for the pain to leave my heart and for god to bring my baby home.

Falsely Accused
Pressure to admitting guilt to exagerated charges and threatened by consequences for if he doesn't.

That the Lord allows the courts to see the truth of the matter not the lie of a set up. And Justice reign for the accused and be set free. And not allow the system to repunish him again and again. He is a good man and He needs Gods voice. For his faith he is still hanging on too, but he's getting weak and discouraged and I pray to the Lord that this trial be done. ITNOJ.

Roxierose
My son-in-law has been accused of something he did not do. He was a massage theripst and a good one.Worked for a highly respected hotel. The person gave him a large tip and took a survey after the massage saying it was wonderful.That evening she stayed at the hotel with her husband acting like nothing was wrong. A mo.after that she had a massage somewhere else. It was 3 mos later she accused him. She was sueing for $250,000.00 but settled in civil court for $50,000.00. Supposedly she was abused as a child by her prist. She is very distrubed.

PLEASE pray that he will be found innocent of all charges.I know in my heart and soul he did not do what he has been accused of. He is a great father and husband and had no reason to jeopardize his career. He has not been able to find a job since and his wife & 2 kids have been struggling financially. I am trying so had to have FAITH that justice will prevail, but it's a struggle. Please help me PRAY for my family. Going to court June 23, 2009.

my fiance's spiritual battle
My fiance Robert is having a spiritual battle within him. On one hand he wants to hang out with the crowd that drinks, and chases women. On the other hand, he wants to go with me to church. I have told him that you cannot have it both ways till i an blue in the face. He has been influenced by this crowd he has been hanging out with(not surprisingly) in a negative way. I realize that nothing I can say will change his heart, only God can change it.

I ask for anyone to pray for Robert's spirit to become convicted to desire Christ, and not the things of this world.

Child in desperate need of intervention
A son who really needs to feel Gods love and guidance. he is about to make a decision that could affect many other people and he does not feel any guidance from God but he has not looked for it because he does not believe.

Please pray that God will fill his heart with a love so he understands his purpose in life is to go forth with his love and strength to guide and comfort him and his decisions need to be responsible because all life is valid
