Faith Prayer Requests for March 2010

God let your light shine through Demarkus and Summer upon this generation.
My Son is very quiet and shy but, is very talented and well behaved. He inherited the gift to write and rap. My daughter is very outgoing she loves the stage acting, singing, dancing. Both kids grew up without their fathers in their lives. My daughters father died when she was a baby and my sons father has a alcohol and drug addiction. I raised both my kids up in the church and they both are very wise for their age. They do know that God is our true Father and he is surely a Father to the fatherless. They have a rap group called D/S, and have two auditions coming up.

Please pray that the shy and fearful spirit will flee from my son. Pray that their light will shine and that the Holy Spirit will give them boldness and confidence to complete the work he has begun. God said no one lights a candle and hides it under a bush. Lord help them to stand and be leaders of this generation. Cover them from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet with the blood of Jesus. God remind them of all the Godly wisdom that you taught them at an early age, so they will always know their purpose and lead other children to you. In Jesus name Amen.

A friend in the need of faith
My ex-girlfriend and friend Melissa is in need of faith, she never grew up in a church family. They never went and she doesn't know where to start, and at this point doesn't want to. She needs help, she has problems at home, depression, and severe migraines. She is very confused, very depressed and needs help. She needs to clear her conscious and get professional help. She has been trying to contact a therapist but can't get a hold of her. She went to one of them and is now terrified to get help. She doesn't deserve this life, this pain, or these problems. She's an amazing person, and the sweetest girl i've ever met.

My prayer request to help find the lord, and to empty all of her worries to him. To get ride of her migraines, to get rid of her depression and to help her family situation. Also that she can get a hold of the therapist and get in and start professional help. Also to bring her back to me, we were amazing together, and now she's just down all of the time and feels like everything is crumbling in life. This is my third request, please open your hearts and help. She needs faith, and trust. She needs a lot of help with her personal image. She needs to see all the good in her life. She needs to let go of things. She needs to get a hold of the therapist and get in for help. Please, open your heart and help a great person find the joys of the lord, and the great things in life. Please let her realize who does care about her, who is there for her and not to forget it. To bring me into her heart and not forget a great person. Recently my heart had great intentions of helping, but it ended up hurting her, i had a friend that has suffered through the same type try and talk with her, she ended up getting really mad and is not talking to me anymore, please help bring us back close again also. thank you She's ignoring it thinking that if she ignores it the pain will go away, we were so close and I want us to be close again. She has now changed to saying she doesn't need help because she found temporary happyness with someone else..... i wish she would see what's she's doing, that she still needs help and what's she's doing to other around her. She's trying to find temporary happyness out of anyone, she's lost and needs serious help. Also me, i'm hurting really bad over it, it's been over a month and I miss her so much. I asked god for her, and he gave me her, I need her back.

compassion and unbias decision
My daughter is in prison for embezzlement.She did a bad thing, but she is NOT a bad person. She has done everything possible to prove how remorseful she is and even the officials where she is, have written letters stating that she doesn't belong there and is ready to go home. The problem lies in the fact that the plaitiffs are full of hatred and vindictiveness and have blocked all attempts to have her sentence modified.They are lawyers and friends of the judge. ;-( This alll happened just 3 months after her children lost their Grandpa to a medical mistake. It has taken a huge toll on them...the 16 year old resorted to "cutting herself" :-( and the 5 year old has severe "separation anxiety". I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from all of these events. We are preparing to send a packet/request to the governor of Maryland asking for his compassion and unbias help to bring thier mother home to us SOON!!!

My prayer is that THIS time we have the right people, the right resources and God's perfect timing to make this result in Chris' favor . We are simply asking that now that she has given them over two years that she will be allowed to return home to her children (and family) to be the wonderful moter she has alwyas been and to be allowed to work ( at a job already awaiting her ) so that she can pay restitution at more than the menial $1.05 a day she sends them now. Our family begs to be reunited and wants to heal and then give God all the glory in sharing our story and His blessings. Our faith has been "tested" but we still have our faith and love carrying us!!! Thank you for listening, caring and most of all for praying for resolution SOON.

husband incarcerated
he has immagration hold,and a hearing to see the judge to on 3/16/2010 and his mom has terminal cancer she has an appt. on 3/23/2010 to decide what and if she wants treatment or hospice for she is 81 years old and she's scared, my husband has always been responsible for her health and medications. and she needs him desperately!

for the judge to have compasion on gerardo flores to release him on bond and allow him to take care of his mom (francisca flores) please pray for us. he goes before the judge 3/16/2010 @ 8:30 a.m. thank you catherine flores

justice and charges dropped
we have 2 boys that were charged with sex with a minor. the girl told them she was 18. on her myspace and facebook she has that she is 18. please pray for these 2 kids and That God will be with them

that justice be done , and that the mother will know it was her daughter that helped create this situation by telling stories about her age. her mother also leaves this poor girl alone all the time, so of course she would seek boys out. we have been told she has had sex with men as old as 26. and that these families can get the money to fight this legal battle. amen

Equip us for Teen Bible study group.
I praise God for the Christian Prayer Center. I thank everyone for praying for me and my family. The Bible says we should pray for one another and 1 Peter 3:12:For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. I'm praying for you all as well! I live in a neighborhood with a lot of single parents that has to work and leave their kids unsupervised. God laid it on my heart to start a Friday night teen Bible study group. I have two teens and we have Bible study on Friday nights. When they was little I opened my home up to have a children Bible study group and we was truly blessed.

I'm starting a teen Bible study group. Please pray that God will cover us in the blood of Jesus, give me wisdom and guidance and provide everything we need to do his work and continue to Bless our household and every teen that hungers for his word.

be able to buy my dream home
I'm paying rent for almost 30 years. I've tried to buy my own house/apartment more than four times with no loock. either my credit was good,but my earnings were too low, although i held two partime jobs and rising my three kids at my own. now I have a steady full time job my kids are grown ups already but my credit score is not good. I'm still keep hope alive that some how I will be able to make my american dream be true.I want to move my three or four bed-house soon before May that i have to renew my lease for another year.

i want to move to my three or four bed dream house under the program rent to own before May. May is the month that I have to sign a lease for another year rent.

need to feel like the Lord Hears my Prayers
I have had long term disability and I have been back to work for about a year and a half now and find it hard to do everything especially with my home. I am often tired and am now attempting to get my GED and attend college. Not all is bad just the money situation. I am unable to afford repairs to my home and now have water standing in the basement with green mold which comes up thru the floors with an awful smell and its in my bedroom. My utility bills have been running about 450.00 a month because Hud has not contacted me regaurding the insulation to my home which i waz approved for. I don't know what to do so much I try to do for others in my line of work and so little back.

I pray for help in this situation and that the Lord hears my prayers as well as those who pray with me.. I also pray for the person I live with who is not a real believer and need to restore his faith as well.. Thanks

Submit my Marriage to the Lord
I want my marriage to work...we are going through problems from our past (before marriage) that is holding us from moving forward. My husband runs whenever he feels pressure. this is the 2nd time since we've been married that he's been away from home for more than 3days. Haven't seen or spoken to him. He does things and then I'll say things and then the situation grows out of control in a matter of seconds. He hasn't been to work either. And I've just been here at home with our 2 children, praying and worshipping the Lord and asking Him to keep me strong and let this storm pass over. I don't know what His will for our marriage is and I'm unclear of if He wants us to end the marriage or if it's the enemy speaking lies to me.

I am praying that my family be delivered from self destruction. My marriage needs healing and restoration. We haven’t even made it to a full year yet. I need help in speaking life and love and letting go of past hurts so that I may live. My husband needs help in upholding and maintaining a spirit of courage and strength. We need help in raising our children through obedience and discipline by leading by example. I am praying that my family receive an immediate breakthrough so that God may receive the glory. Send my husband back home and help him to see the truth and not be deceived by the enemy. Our prayer life together and our fasting for weeks at a time are not in vain. I am believing the Lord, I am trusting the Lord, and I am having faith in the Lord that we may receive an IMMEDIATE breakthrough, but that we learn from our failures and lead lives of deliverance and prosperity. We have an anointing and that’s why the devil is trying to discourage us and tear us down, but I refuse to be broken down because I know the TRUTH and I am bowing down to my Creator. Dear Lord please help us to live your will for our marriage and be strong through the storms. You never said it would be easy, but please give us the necessary armor to rebuke Satan and his demons. I declare right now, in Jesus’ name that our marriage will stand the test of time and that we will overcome our past issues to deliver a miraculous testimony that will save many! I declare that we let go of hurts and trust our Savior to lead our lives. I declare that we let go and let God. I know that the Lord is on our side and I’m praying for wisdom on when to move, but courage to sit still while He works. Renew our minds, bless us with serenity and courage to get through for the rest of our lives. Don’t let us give up. Greater is He that lives within me. I thank you Lord, for your many blessings on our lives. Help us to focus and stand on your Word as our foundation. Forgive us for our sins and push on through this season of affliction. We are more than conquerors. My marriage is not over. It isn’t over until God says it’s over. Move us out of the way of ourselves so that the Lord may work through us. Help us to think positive. I will not be moved by negative words or people. Victory is ours!!!

Faith the Lord will see my pregnancy through
In 2008 I sadly misscarriaged in very early pregnancy. My husband & I have been trying ever since. I am blessed to be pregnant again! Although things were seeming to go wrong, today the Dr confirmed there is a healthy 6 week old baby with a healthy heartbeat.

I am scared & don't want to lose this one. I pray for the faith to know the Lord will see this pregnancy through & bless us with a healthy baby.
