Today I received a check from the insurance company handling my workers comp claim for reimbursement of mileage for driving to Dr. appts, pharmacy and physical therapy. Came about 3 days early and was more than enough to pay the rent this week.

Brother has cancer
My brother, Craig, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma in January. So far he has undergone two rounds of treatment. He has scans this week to see if the treatment is working.

Please pray that the scans show a reduction in his tumors and that his body is fighting off the cancer. If the scans show an improvement they will continue his treatments and he actually has the possibility of a cure. I have requested prayers since January and so far he has done amazingly well. His attitude is great and even though the treatments are pretty awlful he has done well with them. Thanks to all who have been praying for him!!

My daughter-in-law is nine weeks pregnant. She has a six year old son, had one miscarriage and has had much difficulty in getting pregnant. She was on bed rest with her son and has blood issues and will need help in keeping this pregnancy.

My son and daughter-in-law have been yearning for another child. Their son would love to have a sibling. She has asked my husband and I to keep them in our prayers so that she will successfully carry this child to full term or long enough where it will be safe for its birth. They are so hoping to add to their family - my heart goes out to them. Prayers for the best medical care needed for her to hold the baby and for a healthy baby and uneventful birth.
Health Tests before Chemotherapy
I have had three surgeries for breast cancer and now I will be going through tests (PET Scan, heart test and blood tests) before I start chemotherapy.

Please pray that all my medical tests will show that I am healthy and cancer free and that I won't have any more medical problems and can proceed with peace of mind with my therapy.Pleae also pray that the chemotherapy or any of the therapies will not make me feel ill so that I can proceed with working. Mother One Week in ICU with infection
Mom had her hip replaced. Surgery went well. Two weeks into recovery she came down with a staph infection which has her in ICU fighting for her life. Third surgery tomorrow- its our last chance to eradicate the infection

Please pray that God give us more time with her and return her to Health. Pray her body heals itself with this surgery and that her spirit reinvigorate so she can be with her family again.

Hi,could u please agree with me in prayer about something important.Yesterday a doctor found a problem: they said I need a hysterectomy due to 2 large fibroid tumors in uterus and on it, so on. So now that i know what area to attack this situation would u will agree with me that the tumors will die at the roots, and never return, and strink as small as possible so that no surgery is needed, if still needed will be less evasive............and the miracle will be seen it this, and Glory to His Mighty Name.

I am sick right now and I know that I have friends that are praying for me. I have a high family and EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW THAT I am sick I have only heard from just a few of my family members. For two years now my oldest daughter Kendra hasn't spoke to me. I have tried time and time again to ask her to forgive me for whatever I have done to hurt her but no answer. Finding the Love in my Family that I have lost
Anorexia
I went to the MD one day noticing that my ribcage was larger & convex which was unusual. The MD told me I needed to gain 10 lbs of muscle through exercise. I went to get professional help, the certified nutritionist & exercise physiologist said it is only through lifting weights incrementally that I will gain weight. I was rear ended as I was trying to do so & the chiropractor said that I was limited to lifting only 20 lbs, that is 10 lbs per arm.

I am about to attend small claims court where the driver's insurance company would not cover the chiropractor's bill, income loss, pain & suffering. The driver tried to send the mail back to the court after opening the mail. Please pray that I will receive G*d's favor with the judge, that I would present my case beyond a shadow of a doubt, and/or that the driver does not show where the case is automatically won & given for the insurance to cover. Also pray that my once normal body will receive healing & my ribcage would be normal (not convex & stick out). One can see 5 rows & my BMI is ~16 which the World Health Organization states is anorexic/starvation mode. It's not a matter of eating ice cream everynight but rather regular exercise, sleep & diet to gain muscle says the MD (muscle is denser than fat).

I have chronic pain from rheumatoid arthritis and lumbar spinal problems. I am in fear they will fire me from my job. I am out of FMLA and on short-term disability if they fire me i will lost my health insurance and have no treatment. My mom just got diagnosed with lymphoma again and will not take treatment. Hospital care was helpful, but she has given up and just cannot take the suffering of all these complicated illness. The enemy tried to take my life in the year 2010, I believe GOD said no!!! I have pulmonary hypotension, right heart failure kidney and liver problems. I believe I got sick after my daughter died. She left me with four babies of hers to raise. The fathers of these children are in prison. The Lord has always supplied our needs. But I only get social security dissaility and survivors benefits, my husband is no longer to work, he has a bad back and is awaiting a decision from social security. Now they're talking about wanting to remove her entire colon put a colostomy bag on a tracheotomy in her throat and have her on a feeding tube and say that she will no longer be self sufficient will have to live the rest of her life in a nursing home. We me and my siblings have a meeting Thursday at 1230 to discuss and decide to do.

Sprit of Fear
Over the last few years I have been had some health issues. I have been able to overcome all my obstacles thanks to God's guidance. Nevertheless these situations have left me feeling vulnerable. Everytime I have any type of symptom, I will worry and make myself sick worrying about what it could be. I usually assume the worst and am consumed by my worry and fear.

My request is that God renews my mind, soul and spirit and fills me with a spirt of joy and faith rather than fear. I pray that I can be saved from myself and my ill thoughts. My mother diagnosed yesterday with nodules found in her lungs
My mother Marcia has had a terrible ongoing cough for 2 months. Yesterday I took her to the doctor and the chest x-ray showed there were nodules in her lungs. Also, yesterday was the anniversary date that my grandmother (my moms mom)passed away in 2000 which was Mothers Day. My mom is not born again but I am; she is a catholic and stands strong with that religion. I am trying so hard to lead her to the lord and I wont stop...

Doctors cannot figure out what is causing my dizzy feelings and sinus and ear issues. I also have a tumor on my ovary, and under my arm. Also I have gallbladder issue and a fatty hernia. My husband has been diagnosed with lung cancer. When he went in to have surgery one lymph node had cancer so the surgery was canceled in preference that radiation be done first, to halt additional lymph nodes and shrink his lung tumor. I am so grateful for Pastor John's prayer and the amazing number of people here who have prayed for him after my first request. It is emotional to think that so many of you have prayed for him and for me. We now ask a second prayer to guide us in selecting treatment and healing him.

The first prayer request which it seems hundreds blessed us with a prayer has on part been answered. I asked last week- Help my husband become well, who has been diagnosed with lung cancer. We just celebrated our 40th anniversary, and he is a youthful 84. I love him very much. I want all here to know that with your prayers has come the hope and peace we sought. I now know that I can turn this over to God, with the knowledge God is directing this. I ask a second prayer. We are very worried about him taking chemotherapy with it's many serious effects. I have read studies that 40% of all cancer patients end up dying from the chemo. This is horrible. I have learned that medical research shows that chemo (on average) extends a patients life by 2% and that new studies are showing it increases the occurance of multiple, new tumors. My husband knows the Doctors want to help him. He wants to do the radiation to shrink the tumor and treat the lymph node area. We are hopeful he will be able to be healed. We do not know what to do about chemotherapy. We need God's help in this decision. I have learned that other scientists and doctors say high doses by IV of Vitamin C cause the tumors to absorb radiation, without side effects. A Hopkins doctor invented this method. But it is not the way mainstream doctors use, even at Hopkins. I would truely like to know so I can share our story with others facing this. Please pray for us. Please continue to pray for my husband to heal, to recognise it is through God's love and compassion that his hand heals. Please pray to ask God to show us guidance and show us which way to go, we do not know what to do and we are lost. Please pray to relieve the suffering of other lung cancer patients and their families, and find their loved ones.

Sharon was diagnosed with carcinoid tumors last July. Carcinoid is a rare slow growing cancer, however in her case it is rapidly metastisizing to other organs. Her Dr.'s are baffled and not sure what is the best course of action. Her therapy is frankly trial and error. I believe the best healer possible is the Lord. Please pray for her.

I have hip and knee problem--arthritis, bone disease-- that keep me from walking any distance or standing. I am younger and have five children, age 7-18. In March 2010 I was told I had tongue cancer. I went through six weeks of radition and chemo treatments. I am cancer free at this time. But the leafeat that opens and close whrn I breath, drink or eat was damaged. Do I can not eat or drink without the drink or food trying yo go down my wind pipe to my lungs. I am currently taking an addictive medication for control of anxiety and panic attacks. It is somewhat helpful but you build up a tolerance over time and must increase the dose. I dont want to be a slave to this medication. Furthermore, the Lord has said "I have not given you a spirit again to fear but of love, power and a sound mind. I love the Lord and I believe christ died for my sins. However, the anxiety persists rendering me confused and at times wondering if I am indeed saved because of the aforementioned scripture.

I request pray that the Lord would mercifully take this affliction far from me. It attacks my faith, affects my walk with christ, and is an almost constant source of torment.

My Brother still battling liver cancer and due to this, he has jaundice. It is very painful to see him like this. The Doctor says there is not much they can do. My Brother is a fighter and so much faith and said he is not going anywhere.

My aunty whom i'm very close to is dying, she suffered from breast cancer mid last year and didn't take long for the cancer to affect her whole body, doctor said nothing can be done now as it is too late and been trying few treatments but nothing seems to help, she's now she's just helplessly awaits her last day, but i don't want her to die yet, she has a beautiful daughter she raised alone with the help from grandma, mom and her siblings.

Husband to seek rehab for alcohol
My husband is a self-admiited alcoholic who needs professional help to stop drinking. He thinks he can do this himself and is afraid to seek professional help out of shame and fear of discovery. He drinks all day every day. He is not violent or abusive, but he is depressed, hopeless, and lacking in faith in God, himself, and the love of his family. We (wife and three adult children) all love and support him.

I pray that my husband finds the courage to admit he needs outside help to recover from his addiction. I pray that learns to see the beauty inside himself that God sees and that he comes to realize he is worth the effort. I pray that our children and myself will be guided to assist him in the most effective manner. I pray for strength for him, for myself, and for our family.

My grand niece, 11 years of age, is very sick with mono that went to her brain. She has lost the use of her legs, arms, does not eat and is currently sleeping a lot. This happened just 2 days ago. She will need therapy to relearn all that is not working.

Hi! I'm Jin Young Ahn. I'm an international student and going back to my country this year. I asked your prayers for my scoliosis 3 months ago here, and many people prayed for me. I feeled better on my back after my praryer request. I appreciate all of the prayers. When I feeled better, I sometimes skipped going to church and didn't read a bible. I'm a wicked person. My mom's kidney function is not good. She is 90. The doctor talks about putting her on kidney dialysis. I fear that if he does, she won't last long. She is very active for her age, now.

I have never been able to sleep well, I am almost 58 years old. I sleep with alcohol, but the alcohol is ruining my life and those around me. When I do not drink, I am up all night and cannot go to work. I know Satan is behind this misery.

Horrible Nerve Issue
I have been diagnosed with a peripheral neuropathy which manifests in my skin. It is not a fatal condition, but it is an all consuming one. Wearing clothes is a huge challenge. As is sleeping on sheets. I have all to do to keep my job and that is with working from home 2 days a week.

Please pray that I can find the right medicines to live this horrible condition or that it goes away as quick as it came.

I'm a 39 year old single dad raising 2 great boys on my own and have been living with a lot of stress. I'm a disabled veteran and for the past five years my health has gradually gotten worse. I just recently found out I have high triglycerides (375), high blood pressure, and edema around my lower legs. I'm so very scared that something bad is going to happen.

I honestly need some extra prayers looking out for me and my health. I need God to look out for me and my health and make things better so I can get on with my life where I can provide a better life for me and my boys with the new job I just got with Verizon. I finally graduated college, the first in my family, where I did it all on my own because I have no family where I live.
