We chose to have a baby together even though we were not married. In the last 45 days we have had many life stressors which have further complicated our relationship. I am 40 years old with our baby girl due in 9 days. He is 36 years old with no previous children and has moved away, with no promise to commit to our family. He has started a new job and located a separate place to live in the neighboring state, where his faimly if from. I am devasated, and we are both hurting.
Please pray for our family, that he will realize what he is and will be missing all of God's blessings that come with a baby. Pray that God opens his heart and moves him to be present for our daughter's birth. Please pray that he will desire us to be together again so that we may raise our daughter together. I'm praying that he understands that life is imperfect, and that with God's guidance, our relationship will survive and we can provide her with the foundation of a 2 parent home. I would also like to request that God will bind us by marriage and allow us to have a wonderful life together.
