My 5 mo. Old grandson, Colt Moss, is undergoing his 2nd open heart surgery @Duke hospital this Thursday, May 3 @ 9:30. Colt was born with Double Outlet Right Ventricle syndrome ... The left side of his heart didn't develop, so he only has half a heart to do all of the work. The surgeons will be performing the Glenn procedure. Today (tues, May 1), he is having a heart catheterization. We are waiting for that procedure to begin right now.
Prayer for Colt to come through both procedures comfortably, with the best outcome possible and quick, relatively painless healing. For the surgeons, doctors, nurses, and all practitioners working with Colt to have an extra measure of wisdom, patience, desire to do a good job. For God's healing powers for Colt. For comfort and peace for Colt's parents, Andrew and Kristen, and the rest of our family, and for God's Grace over our entire situation.
