Prayer Request: Mental Illness

Hello! My name is Robert, I am 51 and I have had mental illness since I was a child. Having been Born-Again and Baptized 10 years ago, God has blessed and healed me from a number of physical afflictions and addictions for which I am eternally grateful. I do believe that “By His Stripes we were Healed” and that it is just a matter of (His) time before we experience the entire manifestation. So, the problem is, I am so tired of waiting, after so many years, my patience and faith are beginning to wear thin. After many doctors, therapists, prescription drugs and their endless combinations; I am somewhat functional, yet it comes with a high price of various side-effects, mostly feeling “sedated” all of the time with no energy and no desire to do anything. I want to stop taking the meds, but every time I do I become suicidal and can only think about death and dying. Even now, it is often difficult not to think about it. I’m just so tired and want to give up, but at the same time I keep waiting on God’s Promise and thinking I must be doing something wrong for this to be taking so long. I have no friends or support system and can not attend a church right now due to limited transportation and a serious problem with agoraphobia. This lifelong journey of mental illness is nothing but demons from the pit of hell, tormenting me with confusion, fear, doubt, anger, wrong and negative thoughts, selfishness, laziness, coveting, lust, etc. I’ve been through weeks of deliverance counseling and many churches and seminars with endless preachers and elders laying hands on me and praying for me. I am so weak of fighting this battle; my armor is wearing thin and I need all of the help and support I can get from as many faithful and strong Christians as possible. Please pray for me and forward this to as many Christians, Ministers and their ministries and congregations as you can. I pray and thank God that He will Bless you and your family and friends many times over, strengthening you physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and most importantly, spiritually! I thank God for surrounding you and protecting you with His Angels and especially your personal Guardian Angels. Thank you so much!!! May God have All of the Glory, in Jesus Name, Amen.
