Ray was diagnosed with fast growing lung cancer which has spread to the brain. He will undergo very agressive chemo and radiation therapy each day for five consecutive weeks. If after the end of five weeks and the tumor has not shrunk enough for surgery, they will discontinue therapy. Ray will then have a few weeks to live. 15 grandchildren and 4 children are devasted.
Please pray that our family will continue to believe and have faith that our Lord knows what is best for all. If the therapy can work, let it be so, if not, may The Lord call him to His Kingdom in Heaven before the ravages of the chemo and radiation literally take away what quality of life we can have during his last days with us. May the Lord help us remain a family and to remain strong and united during the challenging days ahead, and that together we will find the solution to our financial situation.
