My wife passed away May 2nd of this year after several month's of deteriorating health. Much of it brought on by the medication that she was prescribed. I'm not much of a praying man but I did pray for her often to get well. Jesus said that if you ask anything in my name I will give it to you. I believed that and for ten days prior to her death, I prayed incessantly for to get well. This brought on much discouragement and resentment. I started drinking, not heavily, and my language has become terrible because of the anger within me toward God. Why does God let people suffer so much before dying? I'm a Christian and having been saved over fifty years ago, discouragment and anger has damaged my faith in prayer.
I'm in trouble with God. I know that, and I know that if I don't get a hold of my emotions, I am destined to physical and emotional ruin. I ask that you pray for me to lose this anger within me and renew my faith in prayer and God himself.
