| | About me: | Hello, I am a christian. I have 3 beautiful children. God, has truly blessed my family. When my daughter was 1, (Daisy) we were in a serious accident. Someone hit us from behind, going 55 miles an hour. The hospital said she had a 50/50 chance to survive. She got Truamatic Brain Injury. She was in a car seat but we were at a stand still and she slammed into my seat. I believe the only reason I was unharmed is because God wanted me to be able to care for my little one. I would of took her place any day! Anyhow..she doing great! Thanks to the Lord. At 1st we went to Scottish rights hospital, she was like a vegatable, but with extensive hard therapy, she began to recover. It has been 9 years since the accident and she is still recovering. It is a long road. In which I have had the strength because of God. She is currently attending school, walking with a walker, she has about a 50 word vocabulary and does have assistance wirh her dynovox. She receives therapy at school. Occupational, Physical and Speech. She still has the same funny sense of humor she's always had and oh...she knows everything that goes on around her! And now she is in early teens she is starting to giggle about boys. Her and her sisters get along great. (Marie), my 4yr old was born with a hole in the top of her mouth. At first when she talked noone could understand her. She has received about 5 surgys and now people can understand her!!! So God truley has worked in our lives and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful Lord. | | Interests: | I am currently writng 2 books. One is about the bible and the other is about a how to children book. | | Best piece of advice: | Always stay positive in the Lord, even in the worst situations!!! Because it will get better and if you are negative, everything continues to go bad. | | Favorite Bible verse: | I have a favorite, but have not memorized it yet.
