Relationships Prayer Requests for June 2009

husband left home
my husband is dealing with some inner issues. I don't know what they are but he left home about 2 weeks ago. He wants a divorce. His family(mother father grandmother sister etc) are playing a big part in his decision to leave.None of them have ever been married and They encourage him to leave instead of making it work. Our family is broken. I want the Lord to work everything out for us.

I would like for you all to pray that my husband receives salvation and that our marriage is restored.

SON
My son is involved with a woman 15 years older married twice not a christian who has many problems. GOD has given him a very good job which he loves it is 5 hrs away. She has caused him to use alchol drugs give up 5 jobs kick him out. Now he wants to move back in with her and give it another try says he loves her. he is travelling 500 miles a weekend and driving all night to get back to work. this relationship has been of and on for 3 years. Same old thing after a few months. Says he wants to move back now.

Pleae join with me that God will intervene in this relationship and open my sons eyes and heart. Jobs are scare and the relationship is wrong. Save him.

Reconciliation/Forgivness/healing/realization
I haven't talked to the Woman I Love so very dearly for a while and I am almost positive the Lord wants me to marry her. The enemy has done a nasty thing to try and keep us apart.

Please pray the Lord will do a mighty thing for us(Nick & Jessica) Please pray the Lord will bring us together and bless our hearts and our relationship. please pray for the most beautiful thing to happen. please pray for our protection and spiritual understanding for this situation. Wife and I are separated
My wife and I separated in January 2009 we have been seeing each other and trying to work things out. I go to counseling for my faults. We love each other very much, but there are things that get in our way.

I am asking for prayer for us. we need prayer to overcome the negative things that try to keep us apart. We really do love each other and our love has endured so much, I pray for my wife every day and I pray that God is with us. My wife is 50 and going through some female issues and she is going through a very emotional time. I adore her, her name is Celia and mine is Brad we live in Windsor, California. Prayer to open blinded eyes
Young black male - good - hardworking, clean cut, etc.---needs to know who Jesus is. This young man has been raised by a mom who no doubt has done her best, but seems to be somewhat twisted in her own beliefs. She is a practicing Jehovah's witness, while her son, really is not a "practicing" anything. Though he is a good young man, he needs to know Jesus, as does his mom. However, he is in a relationship with my "prodical" daughter, who has recently returned home to me, after a long disobedient, rebellious departure from me, and all of her teachings. Her father, who died when she was 12, was a devoted deacon in the church that we attended at the time and ruled his house well! He taught his children, JESUS. Needless to say, we were not perfect parents---but we raised our daughter (and son) in the fear and love of God, and taught her who Jesus is. She is now 6 months pregnant. She is 22 years old and so is this nice young man. She has cleaned up her act, and now seems to want to return to her "teachings". She now wants church, Jesus, and all that goes with it! (Hallelujah!) They are soon going to be the proud parents of a sweet little baby girl child, who will need to be taught JESUS!

Please help me to pray for them as a couple, that they may be on one accord. They both need to root and ground themselves in JESUS. Please also pray for this young man's mother, as she is lost and needs JESUS also.

i dont get to see my son like i want to because of a strained relationship with his father and past mistakes ive made so i feel guilty, but im trying to redeem myself and make things right,im afraid he might not love me anymore.

i pray that GOD will make a way for me to spend more time with my son.

Marriage-Relationship
I have been posting off and on for months now. I started posting when I started going through a separation with my wife. Since that time, a lot has happened--good and bad. I know that God has been moving. I have gotten impatient along the way and did things because I lacked faith. I also fell into sexual sin. I thought that when I was asking for prayer, my issues could not get any worse. Well they have. My wife seems to hate me and has a really hard heart. She has filed false charges agaisnt me just to keep me out of the house. I can not believe my wife(who is a lawyer) did this --it is as though I am really in a nightmare that I can not escape. We have gone to court and have to go again. I do love me wife -although she has hurt me badly with her words and actions. I have tried to be a good husband and tried to respond to her every need. I was thinking that all my good works would help me out during this trying time. It is not. I know I have not be all that I should so I know I have a lot of work on that front. My wife and I are hurting and we appear to be hurting each other. We also have 3 young children that are impacted by our actions. I am deeply saddened by all this and I can't seem to shake myself so I can see clearly.

1. To be filled with the holy ghost so I can fight every devil that comes agaisnt me and self control for my flesh, mouth, and attitude. 2. Wisdom regarding what steps I should take in this matter. Should I remain quiet and not fight my wife in court and just keep praying and trying to soften her heart through subtle messages or just fight it out in court. 2. My wife's heart to be softened and for her to drop the charges she filed agaisnt me. I want to receive an email from her stating the fight is over. 3. To be able to return to my house to interact with my children as a father. My wife will invite me back and drop the protective order. 4. To recieve a full time job. I have a part time job. Some of the issues we are having now stem from me not having a full time job. 5. That the spirit of control and division will be loosed and released from our relationship. 6. Peace in my heart while I wait for God to move.

the one I love has isolated herself from me because of certain lies and what I would call brainwashing, but the thing is that the Lord revealed to me that this would happen way before we split up. The Lord wants us together so please help in prayer. I love her and want the best for her. The Lord has been giving be dreams and visions about us together, I am really focused on waiting upon him for this. Please agree in PRAYER :)

My sin....
My wife Lisa and I have been separated for the last two yrs. as I was consumed by my own alcoholism , lust and marital infidelity. I was born again at that time and have been sober for almost two years now and I attend my church every Sunday and also am a member of two small groups, to help me to learn and live the Word in my daily life. Lisa has recently filed for divorce , and claims that the Spirit has directed her to do so. I cannot believe this as "God hates divorce" as it says in Malachi.Since our separation I have lost my job with General Motors , due to the economic downturn in Michigan and I live on a shoestring budget and am hoping for a miracle regarding my marriage and financial situation.

I would ask that you pray that the true Spirit will enter and change and soften her heart towards me and that through the power of God , that our marriage could be reconciled , as an example of God's sovereignity, mercy, love and forgiveness. Also I ask that you pray for a solution to my financial situation and the wisdom to find what God would have me do . Bruce Backhaus

Please continue to give our marriage your strongest prayers for the diorce to be stopped and that my beloved wife leave the sinful place she is now in with this man. This man is 14 years younge than Mary [she is 51 and we have been married 27 years]. He does not have a job and is just using my wife's body and money. please pray that my daughter jennifer see and come to grip see can't help her sister brittany right now she needs to leave brittany along and focus on her new marriage that god put together and let god take care of brittany issues her in tulsa from a mother point of view i think moving brittany with them before marriage is a big mistake and there not putting in god hands and jennifer is not thinking please touch in agree that god moves before saturday and jennifer won't come and pick brittany up god work something else out for brittany situation with her boyfriend problems and jennifer and brandon her soon be husband stay out of the way so god can show brittany what to do when she not in a confused state of mind and just want to run from her problems and instead of being still and waiting on the lord to give her answers if she takes brittany to texas this weekend this will be the biggest mistake of her life please help me pray and god dispatch those secret angels on my family behalf thank you for your time

I am a soldier in the US Army. I am currently on my second deployment in Iraq. I got married recently when I went on leave and it hasn't been going well. My wife is giving up on our marriage and is not looking for God in her life.

HIS RESTORATION
After 15 years married, my wife has left and feels that the LORD has called her to end our marriage and sell the house that HE absolutely gave us for HIS purpose and our families and Ministry.

My wife and I have been a part now for 2 months. She moved out. I have had a personal battle with demon for 45 yrs, since I was 7 yrs old. I have never shared what took place, and even tried for the 23yrs that I have been Saved, to keep it from GOD, due to the shame, guilt, pain and anger. We have been married 15 years, all six of our blended family kids have grown. We are both Born Again Christians and LOVE the LORD. However, my wife has also left church and has been trying to deal with this issue on her own. She feels that the Lord has told her that its time to end our relationship and sell our house and part ways. This is not from the LORD. I love HIM, I love her, and HE has spoken to my heart that I need to remember to always put HIM first, and have FAITH, and HE will restore us. This is what most of our friends and family feel too. This is also what HIS word says. Please join me in prayer for HIS WILL, that HE would speak to both of us what ever it is HE is speaking, and that now that I have finally surrendered ALL and came clean with GOD about my past, the issue that has haunted and tormented me for so long, is gone, delivered, the past is just that. HE has a calling for US both, and HE is not done.

wife gone astray
my wife has been hanging with a group of divorced women who frequent bars and generally go out drinking 4 times a week. When she's with them, she stays out to all hours, and I know they don't approve of our marriage as there is a significant age difference, and she is quite beautiful. Anbout 2 weeks ago she went to a concert one night with this group and stayed partying for 3 days. I took my 2 daughters out and told her to pacj her things while we were gone, which she did. She has been over to see our children and most nights we text back and forth, but she says she is uncertain whether to remain married, or go single.

Please pray the the Holy Spirit will shine a light upon my wife and wake her as he did Saul on the rpoad to Damascus. She married and lived with me in the eyes of God and I always treated her with the utmost respect and generosity. I pray she will forsake everybody and everything that stands in the way of our marriage and family. I pray we will reconncile very, very soon and that our nmarriage will grow in love, trust, friendship, passion, and fidelity, as well as respect. Thank you all so much.

I have been single for almost 20 yrs. I recently prayed to God to send me someone, I am ready. I meet a man who is opposite of me, but still have a lot in common.

My daughter is upset because I kept secrets from her concerning her husband. I made a huge mistake.

Grandson
My grandson is temporaly been staying with us till things at home cool off. Him Mon and Dad fight everyday. Mother allowed Josh to stay with us. When he called to come home she said it's not a good time. they are planning a family get away with him.

My prayer request is that Josh be able to return home. That the love and the relationship between Josh and his father grow stronger. I pray Lord that you would help Josh before anything happens to him. We love him and are very concerned. Lord help him through these difficult times, may his love for you and his faith grow stronger.
