Well Being Prayer Requests for April 2009

addiction
my son is 30yrs old called me crying 2wks ago admitting his addiction came home has gone cold turkey. There's a woman involved who has thru out their relationship has been back and forth and when he found someone else she begged him to come back then left, broke his heart he started using. She hadn't contacted him for a while until last night, wanting him back he had accepted her not being in his life now this has totally confused him at this time it's not healthy for him to be in contact with her he has attempted suicide before I want my son to live I want his heart to be healed his mind to be healed.I know he needs to reconnect to a higher power and he has said as much but getting there is another thing I believe in the power of prayer and prayer in masses will be wonderful.

Prayer
I feel evil has been following me, now about three yrs. Fist came in my home. Now I feel something has come into my body and life. Someone evil or something is out to hurt me and destroy my life. I feel it is out of jealousy and meanous. I tell my husband all the time, but gets angry and say's no such thing.

I feel I need help. I pray to our lord all the time, but I feel there's something blocking my prayers. I do not feel any better. I hear bad remarks at my job, around me all the time. Just remarks of hate and things that hurt. I do not even know these people. Do not know what to do any more. Trust in t he Lord for Help. Ward

Homes
My mother paid my ex-brother-in-law cash to build her home. After my sister's passing we learn he (they) never issued her a deed. Technically the home is not hers. I am trying to get a deed in her name. She cannot, she has had 3 strokes (one of which has taken her speech), she is 84 y.o. Should she die now, ex-brother-in-law gets everything instead of her only living child. She also has several rentals with h er name on them. He gives her $305.91 a month as her half. Not each, total. I am also trying to get a few of those rentals back for her. He is contesting of course but saying she is in-capacitated (not in her right mind). This is totally false. I will have documentation.

My request-That we (my mom) wins. She gets a deed with her n ame on it to her home and that she (I as her POA) get a few of the rentals back in our conyrol even if I have to buy her half back (whatever). Bottom line-I pary we win this case. He shouldn't be allowed to continue to take advantage of her any longer. It just wouldn't be fair or right. We need God's help here.

Norberto Needs Prayers For His Health
My friend Norberto recently sent me a email telling me that he was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer.

Providence
I am currently out of work and receiving SSDI and Medicare benefits. I am desperate to return to work and serve our God in some community outreach capacity. I have created the concept for a personal ministry that would assist others in situations like mine and pray for God's guidance and direction.

That the Heavenly father will find favor with my concept for service and grant me the physical and financial assistance necessary to put the plan into action. I pray that the LORD will lovingly direct a course of events in my life to bring about someting good in the end.

LONELY--HURTING--AGGRAVATED
I WAS WITH A GIRL FOR 6 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS. SHE FOUND A GUY ON MY SPACE THAT IS 8 HOURS WAY AND HAS MOVED UP THERE AND IS NOW PREGNANT. I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WOULD BE WITH HER WE COULG GET THROUGH ANYTHING. WE EVEN GOT SAVED TOGETHER. I HURT SO BADLY NOW AND FEEL A PAIN SO BAD THAT I JUST WISH GOD WOULD TAKE ME ON ----I SEE NO LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL. IVE PRAYED AND PRAYED FOR GODS WILL TO BE DONE IN MY LIFE BUT ITS LIKE HE DONT ANSWER. IM HURT AND VERY CONFUSED AND CAN EVEN HARDLY SLEEP OR EAT. I FEEL HOPELESS

MY REQUEST IS THAT IF ANYBODY READ THIS PLEASE HELP ME AND GIVE ME GOOD NEWS CAUSE I DONT BELEIVE IM TO BE ALONE. IM 42 AND WONT A FAMILY I HAVE FINALLY GROWED UP AND BECAME A MAN AND I WANT TO SHOW GOD THAT. I JUST HURT SO BAD I CANT IMAGAINE EVER FEELING LIKE THIS. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY SON
My son, Vazken, is 16 years old. He was coming home all stoned and drunk so my husband and I put him in my church's men's home Tuesday night. Today he ran away from there and we don't know where he is.

Please pray for him to come home and complete the program so he can get sober and clean again. We want the best for him. We don't want him to ruin his future. Also please pray for protection and for him to withstand peer pressure.

My Grandchildren
my daughter lost custody 2 years ago to her exhusband whom lied and miniulated the lawyers and court officials to assume custody of my two grandchildren. he is never home and his wife is 9 years younger and has no intelligence as to be a step mom. My exson n law adopted my grandson when he was 6. My granddaugher is his biological daughter.

my grandson is constantly abused physically and mentally. My self and daughter have called the police and the schools. The schools don't respond and my grandson is just too scared to talk to public officials. He has been threatened by his adopted dad Scott not to tell anyone or more abuse will come. He has ran away from home. He is 13. My exson n law told him 3 yrs ago of the adoption without consulting my daugher. I fear for my grandsons life at times. I call repeatedly daily and get no answer, I have even sent the local police out to make sure they are ok. They (Scott and his wife Sarah) don't mistreat Saige my grandaughter who is 7 but she is biologically Scott's child. They make my grandson Caleb like their slave. He has to wash dishes daily, take care of horses, clean horse poop and at times is called slave get me a beer. I am really conserned that this is going to make his self esteeme evem lower than it is at this point. I don't have a relationship with Scott; however his wife will not allow it. She is constantly laughing at my grandson who is ADHD and they refuse to give him the medicine that he requires. Just Friday my daugher who pays $220.00 every two weeks and carries insurance had to drive them to Aiken Sc where they live only for them to turn right around and drive back to Rock Hill an hour later to stay the weekend with Scott's parents for the holiday. I mean my daughter's hours have been cut to 30 a week she has no money. Why couldn't he just leave my grandbabies another night and then meet in Rock Hill the next day. He is so spitefule. I hope god just punishes him in own way. Please help pray for the welbeing of my grandchildren. I can't sleep at night worrying about Caleb. They don't really mess with Saige. Please Help!

I want to be a good steward regarding mine and my famlies nutritional needs
Im makeing better choices when it comes what I purchase for my family to eat Im totally doing my homework. Often times Im reading or watching programs on tv and the info is the key but some of the options and alternitves are costly especially having a large family.Organic fruits and veggies and meats do tend to be costly also the package sizeing of most of the organic food items are small and with 5 children buying in bulk just makes ($cents)

My prayer request is that Im wise about how to shop for my family and that were able to afford what ever is GODS WILL for my family and I to have in our diet

Prayer to change job in same organization and complete outstanding work
In Kenya, lawyer for the World Bank and have been for the last 13 years. Not getting enough support and lawyer who should have been recruited has not been. I have applied for a Country Manager position in Rwanda where I am hoping my husband who is currently in the United Arab Emirates and comes home every 2 weeks will find work. My son can move back to US to go to a nice boarding school

My request is that I get short listed, be interviewed for this job and by the grace of God be given this position or something better. I am ready to change countries and to have a different professional challenge.

Need Protection
I am 58 yrs. old and have lived in my apt. for 12 years. A black girl moved in and I started having all sorts of sick- ness/trouble which I did not connect at first with my new neighbor. I heard on the grape-vine that she is into voodoo. a black girl moved into the apartment next-door to me and I now have all kinds of sickness/trouble. People say she is into Voodoo. What should I do? I over- heard her say to a friend of hers, "I don't know why she isn't dead". (Me) I am not expert at war-fare prayer. HELP.

Without hurting this girl, ask GOD to protect me, or move me, or, move her.I just had a bad fall. Ir was like something attacked me. ( Spirit?)

Pray that we may have an independent home and get a chance to settle in the US
My husband was in the US from the year 2000 to 2002.After that he had to return becoz he lost his job. Now he has joined the same company (Cisco Systems) in India with the intension that he may be sent abroad on a long term. But he has never got an opportunity till date. I want to settle abroad becoz in India (where we stay right now) we are forced to stay in a joint family and there has never been any peace of mind for me from when we are married for 6 long years. .I have always been ill treated and abused in the joint family.I have lived like a slave without any freedom. I have only continued in the marriage becoz i did not want to go in for a divorce BECOZ IT IS AGAINST THE WORD OF GOD.

Please pray that I may have an independent HOME OF MY OWN and that we may get a chance to settle abroad. Please pray that my husabnd may get an opportunity that he us looking for from his company.

Grandson's safety
Son and girlfriend are not getting along and putting their son in danger.

That the relationship between the adults will be in the will of God. They will align their relationship with what Christ says, and raise their son in a safe and healthy way in the will of God.

Friend going through divorce
My best friend of 6 yrs is going through a divorce and he has not been in a "good" place in months, he is however going deeper in his faith. Our friendship has suffered with his situation, though I have been there for him as much as I possibly can and try to "fix" things for him to help him, it took him telling me that "you can't fix it" to make me realize that I can't. He is tired of the enemy, and fights this battle daily. He told me that I can help him by praying for him, which I have been and will continue to do.

My request if for our brothers and sisters to pray for my best friend to help him with the enemy. He is a good person. Your prayers will help him fight his battle.

My marriage
I left my husband in February. I got baptize. I am not free from sin, but because my husband had been selling drugs I knew I could not stay with him anymore. I walk away from my beautiful home and my animals. If I had call the authorities they would have arrested me also. this is what a lawyer told me. I am still hurting very much. I wish the enemy would get his hands off my marriage. I need peace in my heart and mind.

Please pray for me. Pray for my husband and my stepson who moved in my old house and they both are doing drugs. I hate drugs. Lord, I need peace of mind. I asked this in Jesus Christ' name. Amen

i tend to dwell on the negative more than state the positive. i let low self confidence keep me down.

Angels to Protect Family
Dear Pastorjohn, Many times, I worry about my children who are with their Grandmother right now. I worry for their safety. I have three children, Kayla, Denise, and Tiffany. Two years ago, I decided to let my mom keep them. She is a good caretaker, but my father, who is their grandfather lives with them and frequently yells at them and my mother. He is abusive.

Please put your angels around my children and protect them and my mother.
